If you are a new user...

Turn on Perfect Portion.

Select new user.

Enter in gender, height, and weight when prompted using the arrow keys.

Select the main food group (protein, vegetable, grain, or fruit) you are going to add to the plate first.

Select the food type you are going to add to the plate.
-
Add food until plate lights up.

Repeat steps 4 and 5 for all desired food groups.

Turn off Perfect Portion.

Remove plate and you are ready to eat!
If you are an existing user...

Turn on Perfect Portion.

Select existing user.
-
Select your name.
-
Choose between the following three options: lose weight, maintain weight, gain weight.

If you choose lose weight or gain weight, enter in your desired weight.

Select the main food group (protein, vegetable, grain, or fruit) you are going to add to the plate first.

Select the food type you are going to add to the plate.

Add food until plate lights up.
-
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for all desired food groups.

Turn off Perfect Portion.

Remove plate and you are ready to eat!
